PSYCHIATRIC JOURNEY PART II

Uhmmmm... 
From the title itself, I guess all of you can know this post is a continuation of " Psychiatric Journey Part I " . 😇 Am I right? 😀😀😀

Ooops, btw , Assalamualaikum everyone. 
Today is Saturday and it is a weekend for all of us. 
Currently, I'm in emergency medicine posting. 
But why I'm writing for psychiatric posting? Hahaha 😆😆😆

Back to basic.
One of the reason why I'm starting writing here is because I would like to keep all my memory and emotion through out of life. 
Since I don't really have much time ( eventhough I have bunch of time 😝😝😝) , so  its take a lot of time for me to write. 

So here the story begins ! 

------ Psychiatric Part 2 ------

Along my journey as a medical student, I meet different type of patient from the aspect of disease and personality. Some of them are willingly to tell their story to us, some of them didn't like us since we just a student 😤, but its okay. Its their right. I didn't blame them. Because I know well how difficult they are going through their problem and being diagnosed with mental disorder. 

Besides, we have a lot reflection session during this posting.
The lecturers keeps helping us to have positive minds ! 
I always remember this . 
Mind will always control your behavior and action. 
Good mind will always producing a good behavior and action, and vise versa. 

They teach us how to be mindfulness and be present. 
Instead of scared of future or living in the past. 
See ! How positive the environment it is ? 

Alhamdulilah, having them as my lecturers is one of the best thing I had in my life. 
Allah ALWAYS blessing me. 💙💚💜💛


EXAM ! 
We were having END OF POSTING 😭😭😭😭 after 8 weeks (2 month) in this posting. 
I was having a difficulty during clerking my patient for long case presentation, and 
I WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE MY CLERKING 😭😭😭 

But after all, I managed to present it, even though not really well. Hahaha 😀😀😀
After two days, we were having theory examination and OSCE. 
Basically theory examination is consist of ( PBQ, MCQ  and OBA). While for osce, we were having 3 station, which consist of 1 interactive and 2 non-interactive. 

So, during the interactive osce, my patient was my ex-fellow at Maidam. I know her. I recognized her. She becoming my "simulated patient" or pelakon lah in other means. 

During that time, I went to another chair to have her attraction. She looks at me and smile !!! 
WHAT?? I really cannot control myself. Hahaha. She also trying avoid from laughing since she need to be someone who are depressed! Hahahahha😆😆😆😆😆. But, alhamdulilah, I was able to clerk her well and present well. walaupun tersekat sekat. hahahha. I got good marks fro here wehh. 8/10 💛

At the end of it, we have another one reflection session. During that time, my lecturer, Prof Rohaya, who was my examiner during interactive osce was praising me because of my action. I'm the only one moving my place to another chair in other to attract my patient. 

I'm never though of it. It's just spontaneously occurs. Plus, Dr Khairi had taught us to always having eye to eye conversation and make sure the patient are comfortable with us. So, yeahh . That was a very good end actually for this posting ! 
YEAHHH 💓💓💓💓 

Last but not least, Dr Khairi reminds us that Fail is not the END OF THE WORLDS since 2 of my friends were fail during exam, where by one of my friends cannot present during the long case. So that was bad things occurs during this posting. 

After all, this posting give me a lot of motivation to having a good life, be a good"hamba ALLAH", be a good child, student and friend ! 💖💖💖
